Adaptive Fitness Education

Are you a fitness or rehab coach who is wanting to learn the skills needed to work with clients who have a physical disability? Or maybe you already have a client who has a disability, but you are stuck on how to properly and safely move forward with their program to get them the best results? We offer continuing education courses to fitness coaches or your staff at your gym, with in person and online options. Our courses will equip you with the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully take on clients with physical disabilities, such as MS, Spinal Cord injury, Arthritis, Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, Long-Covid, and more.

Megan Williamson, BA, CPT and rehab specialist has 12 years of experience in the field and 8 years working at the Blusson Spinal Cord Center with clients out of the Physical Activity Research Center (PARC).

Our training courses are Fitness Alberta, BC RPA, NASM, and Canfitpro approved. Courses can be used for CEU’s or CEC’s towards recertification within your field of practice.

Consulting

Consultations are charged at $125/hour (including GST).
