Our team offers educational courses and consulting on fitness inclusion and the skills for working with clients with physical disabilities in the gym or studio setting. These educational opportunities are for any health and wellness practitioners who take on clients with physical disabilities.

Megan Williamson, BA, CPT and rehab specialist has 12 years of experience in the field and 7 years working at the Blusson Spinal Cord Center with clients out of the Physical Activity Research Center (PARC).

Our training is Fitness Alberta, BC RPA, NASM, and Canfitpro approved. Courses can be used for CEU’s or CEC’s towards recertification within your field of practice.

Consultations are charged at $125/hour (including GST).


  • Helping you and/or your staff learn how to work with behaviours, motivation, use of prompting levels, talk to someone with a physical disability, etc.
  • Providing the basis to translate and apply international exercise guidelines for different disabilities
  • Developing programming for people living with Spinal Cord Injuries, MS, Arthritis, cerebral palsy, CMT, Parkinson’s and clients who are amputee, with respect to their abilities or symptoms
  • Learning effective methods of assessment, the latest protocols for COVID-19, and how to work with adaptive equipment
